The webinar series is based on Mercy International Association’s publication Inherent Dignity, an anti-human trafficking advocacy guidebook.

Session One: 7 March 2019

This session introduces a human rights-based approach to trafficking prevention and includes a powerful testimony of a trafficking survivor-advocate.

Session Two: 24 May 2019

In this session Angela Reed rsm and Amanda Lyons, J.D. explore the common patterns of human rights violations that take place during the trafficking experience and discuss the obligations of governments to prevent trafficking under key international and regional human rights instruments.

Session Three: 24 June 2019

This session provides concrete actions organisations and individuals can take to prevent trafficking. We hear from anti-trafficking advocates from Canada, Ireland, United States and Australia.
