Service of Remembrance for Catherine McAuley on the anniversary of her death
We had a beautiful Service of Remembrance today to mark the anniversary of Catherine McAuley's death on 11 November.
The Service of Remembrance was beautifully led by Mercy Associate Anne Reid. We presented flowers of our lives to Catherine, listened to an account of her last hours, and spent some time in silence in the room where she died.
Then we processed down the stairs and rang the house bell. From there we went to Catherine's grave where we shared prayers and concluded with some Salve Regina and some quiet time with Catherine.
