Mercy Day 2024 Eucharist from Baggot Street

We gathered in person in the chapel in Mercy International Centre in Baggot Street for our Eucharist for Mercy Day on 24 September 2024.

More than 60 Sisters and Associates joined in person and thousands more online for our Mass which had the theme 'May we be a light for all around us'.

The Mass was introduced by Sr Patricia O'Donovan RSM, CEO of MIA. Our Celebrant was Father John O'Gara SM.

The music was provided by Sr Marie Cox RSM (soloist and guitar); Sr Ailish O'Brien RSM (violin); Sr Frances Kennedy RSM (flute); and Sr Patricia O'Donovan RSM (keyboard).

The reflection offered after the Gospel was by Siobhán Kenny, Values and Culture Lead at Mercy University Hospital. The post-Communion reflection was offered by Sr JoAnne Jones rsm.
