"A Century of Mater Care" is a pictorial record of the Hospital in it's first century, specially produced for the Centenary. Its descriptive captions and text identify the unique character that is the Mater.
Many of the photos have been sourced from the Hospital’s rich archival treasure. The images will heighten readers’ sense of Mater tradition and tell the story of the pioneering work of the Sisters and their nursing care.
The book is a record of, and a tribute to, the Sisters of Mercy and their tradition.
