Artistic Response: Incarnate God in the Cosmos and in the Person of Jesus
Corlita Bonnarens rsm (Americas): 'The Compassionate Heart of the Cosmos'

I believe that “the Feminine” gives birth to life in many forms. In this watercolor painting, I tried to give expression to the Feminine and Creation.
Only when I added (at a later time) streaks of white to shape a heart, did I realize that power and energy emanate from that merciful, compassionate heart—thus the title of the painting: “The Compassionate Heart of the Cosmos”.

I am blessed to be able to use the gifts that my Creator has given me and share them with others. I consider the creative process to be sacred and a way of giving expression to my spirituality.'
